Hey friends...
I haven't been around much lately reason being I lost my Dad.
He passed from this world on April 26, which is also my younger daughter's birthday. It is quite devastating to our family as most deaths are when someone close dies. We did not expect it and had a shocking few weeks before his death watching him go from bad to worse. His heart eventually just gave out and that was it...

To watch someone you love so dearly pass right in front of you is the hardest thing I have ever had to witness. I don't think I will ever get it erased from my mind. All I know is I miss him...his voice, his laugh, his advice, his wisdom. I am so blessed to have had such a great Dad.
He was an honorable and respectful person that had totoal love and dedication to my Mom. May 1st would have been their 60th Anniversary. I just hope and pray for strength for my Mom. For obvious reasons said...she is taking it very hard and misses him so dearly. So that's where I am...missing a piece of my heart.

I wrote this one night when I couldn't sleep while I was overcome with emotion. Take good care and hug your loved ones because believe me...one never knows, it could be too late some day.

So many thing I feel inside
Confusion, pain and grief
Our time here seems to linger on
In reality, it's brief
I think I shall never be the same
But yet..I must go on
If not for him I would not be here
Now I can't accept he's gone
Someone said God needed him
To be an angel by His side
But I need him too and this angers me
The part of me that died
Along with what I'm forced to accept
Those thing I cannot undo
Just remember Dad and hear my words
I miss and love you too
